Running of the Bulls Denver Style

This weekend had some excitement. There was a running of the bulls event three blocks from home, with a little twist. The bulls are the Denver Roller Derby Girls. Brave men, women, and children dressed in white with red embellishments and ran a FULL 1K as they dodged roller girls armed with wiffle ball bats. The participants paid to run and the money went to the Tennyson Center for Children at Colorado Christian Home- which is a fabulous non-profit. http://www.childabuse.org/

We didn't run it, but Emory, Dad, Jen and I had a great time watching. And I did run...started training for the Savannah Marathon this week! I don't know what's wrong with me....
